The goal is to be able to offer a possibility of reintegration for people usually at the edge of the community, through work and activities that can give them dignity and autonomy. The organization's activities have four production sectors: textiles, screen printing, paper and food laboratory. The food laboratory which complies with HACCP requirements, is concerned with the packaging of unrefined cane sugar as well as other products such as vanilla and various spices. Manduvira cooperative was founded in 1975 by a group of teachers and farmers, with the aim of initially operating in the field of microfinance and then from 1990 even as agro-industrial cooperative , to enable small producers to sell sugar and other agricultural products in an efficient and professional way.
